  2. Hi Jerry san,

I think these function(like touch sensitivity) are not supported general touchscreen.
But, some smartphone has menu to change sensitivity.
so sensitivity function is popular as embeded device.

API list is same as our current product.
So there is no additional requirement now.

  3. Hello Toshiaki Takeuchi -san,

At EG-VIRT side, we started touch sensitivity support activity, and I would have the following questions for you:

    • Do you have now a specific hardware touchscreen display in mind for this?
    • If there is no hardware available, how do you plan to use touchscreen sensitivity feature? Is sensitivity support something you need for development purposes only?

If there is no hardware, but you want to use for development/testing reasons, we can implement it in a virtual (emulated) device. This would give you the possibility to experiment with it in a virtual machine.

I am available to discuss possible solutions here in confluence, via email or during the next EG calls.

    Thank you in advance,

    Michele

    sorry to late respose.

The touchscreen sensitivity setting is not meaningful in an emulating environment because it control to the actual device.
This API is necessary in case of device control in a product, but is unnecessary in a virtual environment.

  5. Hello Toshiaki Takeuchi -san,

Thanks for the response.  Would something like this (htt70a-ips) be a possible target?

Tomorrow I will be attending the IVI meeting, I hope we can discuss about it there.

    Thanks,

    Michele

  6. Hi Michele Paolino -san

    HTT70A-IPS is looks nice.
    I checked HTTP_Utility_Guide.pdf.
This Display can configure the sensitivity of touch panel.
And source code of utility is provided to Linux platform.

    Thanks.
    Takeuchi

  7. Thanks Toshiaki Takeuchi -san,

I will then consider this as the target for the sensitivity work.

Let me know if you see any contraindication from your side.

    Regards,

    Michele

  8. Hi Michele Paolino, let's go with this touch panel. I already checked with the IVI-EG leader Mitsuo Date
